Chilly weather calls for all the chili and soup. There are very few things better than hot comfort food on a cold day. My favorite pick-me-up meal is a veggie chili recipe I found on Carley Rowena’s blog a few years ago. I’ve looked, but I haven’t been able to find the recipe on her blog anymore. Fear not, I have it memorized, and I will share it with you. She has lots of other great content, so I’ll link her blog here.

Making Mince Pies
I've got something sweet for y'all today! Since I am completely obsessed with all things to do with England, I decided that I was making some mincemeat pies this Christmas. Mince pies aren't really a huge thing here in the states, so you can't go to the grocery store and by pre-made mincemeat. So imagine my excitement when I found out that my mama and my aunt made some this Summer and canned it for the Winter. I don't think I have ever been so excited about jared fruit in my life! So here is how I made my first mince pies.
